Ana Karen Ba\u00f1uelos Ram\u00edrez<\/em><\/p>\n – Objective: To analyze the literature on the use of ozone therapy in oncology.<\/em> <\/p>\nAbstract<\/strong><\/h3>\n
– Material and Methods: Review of 12 articles published in English and\/or Spanish, ranging from 1998 to 2022. Of which 2 were basic research and 10 clinical studies.<\/em>
– Results: It was demonstrated that ozone can synergize with some chemotherapy drugs. In addition to presenting an elevation in the levels of pro-apoptotic genes, a decrease in the number of complications, as well as the time of their appearance and the non-interruption of treatment. A significant decrease in tumor hypoxia values was observed.<\/em><\/p>\n
