It is a rare disease of unknown etiopathogenesis, which occurs with the presence of eosinophilic infiltrates in the wall of the gastrointestinal tract. Its symptoms are nonspecific and the diagnosis is given by the pathological result of biopsy samples.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Its treatment has little evidence and is based mainly on dietary measures and the use of corticosteroids.
